In all probability ACS Home Raj Kumar will be the new Chief Secretary of Gujarat on January 1. 1987 batch IAS officer Raj Kumar will succeed Pankaj Kumar who is retiring on December 31.

Atul Karwal to succeed Bhatia as DGP Gujarat?

Grapevine has it that Atul Karwal is returning to Gujarat in January as DGP. A 1988 batch IPS officer Karwal will succeed 1985 batch IPS officer Ashish Bhatia. Karwal is presently DG NFRF.
