Eight IAS officers have been given new responsibilities in UP. Mrs Selva Kumari J. has been appointed Director General, Technical Education, UP and Secretary, Technical Education Department, while Sameer Verma will take charge as Secretary, Planning Department and Director General, Finance and Statistics and Prabhu Narayan Singh was made Managing Director, Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation. Similarly, Masoom Ali Sarwar has been posted as CEO, Uttar Pradesh Sunni Central Waqf Board; Ashish Kumar as Managing Director, UP State Tourism Development Corporation; Sudhir Kumar as Special Secretary, Stamps and Registration Department and ADG, Registration; Arpit Upadhyay as Municipal Commissioner, Kanpur City and Mrs Anjulata was appointed as Chief Development Officer, Rae Bareli.
