17 IAS officers get new assignments in Haryana

As many as 17 IAS officers have been given new assignments in Haryana in a major reshuffle. The 1991-batch IAS officer G Anupama has been posted as ACS, Youth Empowerment and Entrepreneurship Department, in addition to her present charge as ACS, Social Justice, Empowerment, Welfare of SCs and BCs and Antyodaya, and ACS, Civil Aviation, while C G Rajini Kaanthan has been handed over the charge of Commissioner and Secretary, Finance Department, Secretary, Central Committee of Examinations and Commissioner and Secretary, Haryana Medical Education and Research Department.

Likewise, 2007-batch officer KM Pandurang will be posted as Commissioner and Secretary, Information, Public Relations, Languages and Culture Department, Mines and Geology Department and CEO, Panchkula, Metropolitan Development Authority, Panchkula; Dusmanta Kumar Behera (2007 batch) as Commissioner and Secretary, Haryana Human Resources Department and Commissioner and Secretary, General Administration Department; Rajiv Rattan (2008 batch) as Secretary, Personnel, Training and Parliamentary Affairs, Inquiry Officer, Vigilance and Director General, Supplies and Disposals; Pankaj as Secretary, Haryana Public Service Commission, and MD, Haryana Power Generation Corporation Limited and Prabhjot Singh joins as Transport Commissioner and Secretary, Transport Department, in addition to his current assignments as Director General, Environment, and Secretary, Environment, Forests and Wildlife Department.

Further, Hema Sharma of 2010-batch is shifted as Commissioner, Karnal Division; Dr Aditya Dahiya as Director, Information, Public Relations, Languages and Culture, Special Secretary, Information, Public Relations, Languages and Culture Department, Director, Art and Cultural Affairs, MD, Haryana Vidyut Prasaran Nigam Limited and Director, Department of Future; Yashendra Singh as Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Faridabad, and CEO, Faridabad Smart City Limited; Dhirendra Khadgata as Director, Medical Education and Research and Special Secretary, Medical Education and Research and Director, State Transport; Pradeep Dahiya as Commissioner, Municipal Corporation Gurugram and District Municipal Commissioner, Gurugram and Sachin Gupta, Deputy Commissioner, Ambala, will also handle charge of Additional Controller, Civil Defence, Ambala.
