4 IAS officers get new postings in Assam

Four IAS officers have been shifted and given new postings in Assam. Dr Om Prakash, on his return from inter-state deputation, is posted as Commissioner and Secretary, Agriculture Department and given additional charge of Commissioner and Secretary, Environment and Forest Department. Similarly, Mrs Anusua Dutta Barua is now Secretary, Food and Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs; Mrs Varshaty Das will take over as Secretary, Soil Conservation Department and Sadnek Singh was shifted as Additional Secretary, Transformation and Development Department.
