CBI books GST officer in bribery case

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested a Superintendent, working in the office of Commissioner, CGST Commissionerate, Rohtak (Haryana) for demanding a bribe of Rs.10 lakh in lieu of not imposing CGST on the sale of rice by the complainant’s firm.
