Eight IAS officers get new responsibilities in Punjab

Eight IAS officers have been handed over new responsibilities in Punjab. Kumar Rahul has been posted as Secretary, Employment Generation & Training, while Amit Kumar will take over as Joint Development Commissioner, Integrated Rural Development with additional charges of Commissioner, NREGA and ex-officio Special Secretary, Rural Development & Panchayats. Similarly, Rajiv Kumar Gupta will be posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner (General), Jalandhar; Ankurjeet Singh as Additional Deputy Commissioner (General), Pathankot; Viraj Shyamkaran Tidke as Additional Commissioner, Taxation-I; Harpreet Singh as SDM, Amritsar-II with additional charge of SDM, Majitha and Ms Manisha Rana was made SDM, Anandpur Sahib and in addition SDM, Nangal. Besides, Dilip Kumar, PS, Industries & Commerce, will also hold charge of PS, Investment Promotion.
