EIL records strong financial performance in Q1 FY 2026–27 with 55% rise in PBT
New Delhi: Engineers India Limited (EIL) has reported a strong financial performance for the quarter ended 30 June, 2026, marked by healthy growth in profitability and continued business momentum.
During April–June 2026, EIL’s Profit Before Tax (PBT) increased by 55% to Rs. 145 crore, compared to Rs. 94 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year. Profit After Tax (PAT) also grew by 55% to Rs. 109 crore, as against Rs. 70 crore in Q1 FY 2025–26.
Operating margin during the 1st quarter of FY 2026–27 stood at around 14% (Rs. 108 crore) as compared to 7% (Rs. 59 crore) during the quarter ended 30 June, 2025.
EBITDA of the Company as on 30 June stood at Rs. 155.44 crore (EBITDA Margin: 18.55%), in comparison to Rs. 104.61 crore (EBITDA Margin: 11.72%) as on 30 June, 2025. On a consolidated basis, the Company recorded a PAT of Rs. 157.94 crore, registering a growth of 141%.
EIL’s business outlook remains positive, supported by a strong order book and continued opportunities across the energy and infrastructure sectors. The Company’s order book stood at Rs. 14,424 crore as on June 30, which comprises the Consultancy Segment of Rs. 10,498 crore, while the Turnkey Segment constitutes Rs. 3,926 crore.
The Company continues to focus on business growth, operational excellence, diversification of its project portfolio, growing its international footprint, and leveraging emerging opportunities across traditional energy, energy transition, and infrastructure sectors.
