Governors appointment likely this month?

Whispers in the corridors of power suggest appointments of new Governors by the Centre in half a dozen states. Presently Governors of UP and Karnataka are the longest serving Governors. Anandi Ben Patel is enjoying Lok Bhawan stay since 2018 when she was first appointed the Governor of Chhattisgarh, in January 2018, she became the Governor of Madhya Pradesh. The next year she was given the additional charge of UP Lok Bhawan and in 2021 she was appointed the Governor of UP and still staying there. Likewise, Thawar Chand Gehlot assumed office of the Governor of Karnataka on July 11, 2021 and is still continuing.
