In UP, CS and DGP are acting Chiefs

Both posts of Chief Secretary (CS) and Director General of Police (DGP) are being served as Acting in Uttar Pradesh. A 1985 batch IAS officer, Rajendra Kumar Tiwari is rendering his services as Acting Chief Secretary and now Hitesh Chandra Awasthi, a 1985 batch IPS officer, has been assigned an Acting Director General of Police charge after the retirement of O P Singh.
