IRS officer promoted after retirement, on ad-hoc basis

The CBIC has promoted Devendra R Verma to the grade of Asstt Commissioner, Customs and IndirectTaxes on ad-hoc basis, notionally with effect from 24.12.2020. He retired in February 2014.
