Mayawati, Mehbooba hail BRICS Delhi Declaration; Is BSP chief going global?

She said in Lucknow on Sunday that amidst the severe economic crises, tensions, conflicts, and challenges arising from US actions against Ukraine and Iran, as well as the imposition of tariffs, the unanimous adoption of the 140-paragraph 'Delhi Declaration' by the BRICS nations is a remarkable diplomatic achievement reflecting great wisdom and insight.

Likewise, the PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti said, "I believe the New Delhi Declaration is a very positive step. It condemned the Pahalgam attack and addressed the events in West Asia—specifically the unilateral attacks and sanctions—as well as the situation in Gaza, issuing a strong statement."
