MECON gets Miniratna status

MECON Limited, a Schedule ‘A’ engineering and consultancy CPSE under the Ministry of Steel, was granted Miniratna Category-I status after recording continuous profits for three years and a positive net worth of ₹535.42 crore, giving its board greater financial and operational autonomy.
