Now no IAS or IPS is Field Marshal in the country

After the departure of N N Vohra  from the post of Governorship of J & K, now there is no Field Marshal either in the IAS or in the IPS. Field Marshal means one who does not retire  during his life time. Since 1960 Bohra has been in power throughout his life so far and in J & K as Governor he had lengthy tenure of 10 years and two where Governor’s rule was imposed four times.
