Odisha Govt transfers seven IAS officers

The Odisha government has transferred seven IAS officers in an administrative reshuffle on October 7, 2026, updating postings for key district collectors and department roles. Dr. Maheswar Swain (Collector & DM, Nabarangpur) has been appointed as Additional Secretary to Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi. Anya Das (2019 batch IAS) has been appointed as the new Collector & DM of Nabarangpur (replacing Dr. Maheswar Swain). Madhusudan Dash (Collector & DM, Nuapada) has been appointed as Additional Secretary in the General Administration and Public Grievances (GA&PG) Department. Madhumita (2020 batch IAS) has been appointed as the new Collector & DM of Nuapada district (replacing Madhusudan Dash). Pradeep Kumar Nayak (Additional Commissioner at Additional Revisional Court, Bhubaneswar) has been posted as Additional Secretary in the Fisheries and Animal Resources Development (F&ARD) Department. Ashni A. L has been posted as Sub-Collector of Bhawanipatna. Kasturi Sha has been transferred as Undersecretary in the General Administration and Public Grievances (GA&PG) Department.
