Bhayyaji Joshi is likely to continue as number two in the RSS. Earlier there were speculations that Bhayyaji is being replaced by Dattarey Hosbele this month.

Is Congress a spent force in Odisha?

All is not well for Congress party in Odisha. A weak organisation is said to be the reason behind the present state of affairs of Congress. The party is not able to register a comfortable win in the state. Observers say that Congress has become a spent force in Odisha. If high command doesn't act, the party likely to see an exodus.

Contradictory Coalition

I'm  back in Shimla and today my Respected Friend.. Retired Senior Bureaucrat...and yours truly decide to walk The Mall and Talk. We pick up couple of Soups and start our Walking and Talking.

Me: Lenin Statues came up to signify a Commie State... and then Lenin was a mass murderer who was allergic to Democracy..he ordered the breaking down of statues and religious symbols ...
Respected Friend: What irritates me is the lot that is saying today Lenin... tomorrow Ambedkar... Gandhi.... they are clubbing both with Lenin... what an insult to both great Leaders..
M: Is FIPB ... Family Investment Promotion Board ....now there are allegations that PC allegedly cleared a 3500 crore Deal in the garb of a 180 cr one. Possible objective....  Cabinet Committee's  approval not required  and could be cleared at Minister's level..
RF: I'm sure PC will have his take on this.... could even use the Typo route... then the typist and those in the File Chain ...their heads would be on the Block...
M: They'd then say... where does a Minister have the time to go into nitty-gritty...
RF: And seems CBI is at the receiving end with Karti....hope the CBI shows the Court the defiance and bravado he shows outside Court.... ask for more extensions as he is proving to be a tough nut to crack...badde Baap ka Beta complex...
M: I think his confidence is based on... I am PC's son ..no Judge can convict me!!! And he feels in 2019 his Dad will be back in power and then he will interrogate todays interrogators...
RF: And Congress has just one defence... its an old matter why is it coming out now!!!! Warped and idiotic logic.... when poo hits the fan..who knows where where its gonna land!! Like CBI getting ready to also probe 80:20 Case..
RF: I think people don't understand what NPAs are... just because one has huge loans doesn't make the loan NPA... like Adani....
M: Achcha ... you talking about the tweet by Swamy.. but he does throw some red hearings cometimes...
RF: Adani's Net asset block of Indian Operations stands at 1,10,000 crores. Its got huge overseas Holdings too. 65,000 crore loan is well secured with hard assets like Ports... Energy Verticals...Mining Assets. Annual Profiit after servicing the above loan is 6000 cr...how is it a NPA... 
M: I think Swamy will solve this himself....Maverick and bottom line pro Modi...

RF: Huge facture lines based on their ethos.... vote banks.....like SP BSP can come together for an indirect election never for a direct election. Didi in her frustration and desperation is willing to join hands with Commies but Commies would never agree..
M: And whatever rag-tag coalition they come up with... I am sure the partners would demand that Sonia return to the helm of affairs..... which Sonia cannot accept....
RF: No one is comfy with RaGa.... NE should show the allergy Parties have with Congress...
M: Speaking of RaGa...he's off to Singapore and Malaysia 8-10 March....and Congress has problems with a PM's trips... what about RaGa who technically is a Vela (idle)!!
RF: Each and every expense on Modi's trips is accounted for.... can Congress say the same for RaGa???? As an example if Modi goes to Rome and from there travels by Car to Zug in Switzerland .... the objectives and programme would be known for months.... can RaGa claim same if he undertook such a trip!!
M: I think two of the most difficult jobs today... one is of the NSG guy who stands straight faced behind Rahul when he delivers his speech... and the other of RaGa's Travel Agent....

We have a good laugh and walk towards Lower Bazar for some shopping.
