BJP to gain in non-hindi belt ?

It is widely believed that the BJP will be loser in the Hindi Heartland in the Lok Sabha polls while it will gain in the non-hindi belt.

Two Chief Ministers waiting for appointment with PM ?

Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and Chief Minister of Puducherry V Narayanasamy  are waiting for appointment with the PM Narendra Modi.

MEA [Passports]

Enjoying my morning Cafe fix at my favourite Cafe...on the adjacent table is a Lady who looks every bit a Page 3 Socialite. She stops admiring her nails and strikes a conversation with me.

Lady: Sushma ji is overdoing it.....

Me: She should see the Twitter Timelines of  Modi..Trump .... why even Smriti Irani...

L: But despite the abuse they don't respond.....

M: Sushma first erred..... then complained.... now she's modified the rules for getting a Passport...the modifications are illogical...she's just tying herself in knots.....

L: See she's basically MEA - Passports ..... rest all is handled by PM and NSA....okay she gets to travel and there are photo ops...

M: Thank God for this.... or there would have been a lot of melodrama in our Foreign Affairs dealings...

L: Actually in this matter ... everyone got what they wanted...Begum Anas got her Passport without proper documentation... Sushma got to play victim... and Darbari Journos got a Messiah in the BJP....only the RPO got a raw deal..

M: Actually Sushma thinks she's PM material... and she's positioning  herself in case there is an oppurtunity...otherwise there was no reason for her to be so upset...if she expected others  in BJP to stand up for her she's wrong.... did she stand up for Modi when he was abused or insulted... or Smriti Irani.... no! And usually Opposition  would have gone hammer and tongs after MEA for erring in giving a Passport... but there's total silence... add 2 +2....

L: Sonia would only be too happy if Sushma becomes PM....she's all for Advani too... .... someone was telling me at a Page 3 Party....RaGa wants his Mom to stop Oldie Congis running  to her every now and then...

M: See its a fact his stupidities have got Congis worried....the Oldies read the writing on the wall...they are loyal to Sonia and so they warn her...

L: The joke at Page 3 Parties is ..... Aki and family are in London.... Queen has been forewarned... Public View areas in Buckingham Palace may loose some taps...

M: Ha ha.... the other Yadav... Laloo's son is suffering from verbal diaherrea ..... but then his Father benefited from this condition... their USP is rustic humour....buffoonery ... his latest.... Nitish not welcome in his home....maan na maan mein tumhaara host....

L: Hear now till 2019 election Kejri will demand Delhi be made a full State.... he will do it in his style... abuse... insult... lie.... protest...

M: All he needs to do is get someone to decipher what the Constitution says...parallels with Goa and Sikkim referendums are wrong....its a City Semi State.... and with Delhi being the seat of Power for Central Government it would be ill advised to have a parallel power in Delhi....

L: Two swords in one sabre.... no!!

M: But Kejri has invented this issue to distract the Public's attention from their woes ...which are on account of the shoddy AAP Governance...

L: Amongst the Opposition Leaders... I like Pawar's way of operating... out of power he lies low.... sporadically 'fires a few rounds'.... once elections are over and Government formation is being done... he and his trusted Lieutenants are in the forefront...

M: There is a reason why he's called Sharat (bargaining point)  Pawar...

We have a good laugh and I bid adieu..pay my tab and move out.

Modi Down But Not Out

Who has been the most succesfull bureaucrat turned politician ?

Eyeing politics as a vibrant medium of serving the nation, several civil servants have in the past several years identified politics as more suitable career to serve the people. Given the fact that they found the political system much comfortable and active in order to bring about the desired change, it however remains to be seen that who among the bureaucrats (who turned politicians) have been most succesfull both in the state and at the Centre.
