Probe against Mediamen?

If sources are to be believed, an Investigating Agency has started probe against some senior journalists , especially those who  are working in channels and big Media Houses, about their Benami properties and other source of income, if they have. Many journalists are on agencies radar. The deptt has reportedly raided the premises of one renowned journalist in NCR on Thursday . Two more investigating agencies are also probing. It is said that some more are on the radar.

About 50K apply for Padma Awards

MHA has received 49.992 nominations for Padma Awards - 2019. It’s a record because it is 32 times higher over the nominations received in 2010. 1313 nomination were received in 2010 while 18768 were received in 2016 and in 2017, govt received 35,595 nominations for Padma Awards.

Friend: Really there is so much misinformation on the Rafalle Deal... like the Offset obligation of Dassault is 8400 crores......Dassault will fulfill 840 crores Offset obligation via DRAL. What's this stupid talk about 20,000 crores Offset to Reliance.... humbug!!! There's nothing like lifetime Contract....

Me: Now new shosha.... something about a presentation done by Dassault..

F: Yes I read about it in the morning...and did some updating from my sources in Paris.....Dassault gave presentation to Central Works Council (represents Workers)  which is vehemently against Offset ....as it takes away French jobs...I understand  Dassault explained  to them about the necessity of Offset in this Contract and explained without Offset Contract is not possible...

M: Its also being said that there is a mention about  Reliance..

F: I read the Document which is in French.. and the translation by the source in France...its clear Reliance is the inference the Journo drew as its mentioned in the translation in brackets!!

M: And the investment that Dassault makes in DRAL India will be part of Offset obligation ..

F: I see all these lies on this Deal as a coordinated effort.... just see this tweet of the French Journo.....why has this info been forwarded only to those Twitter Handles that are blatantly anti Modi..

M: Seems after the SC plea flopped now this is the next attack....

F: And Dassault  has again rubbished reports  that it was under  any pressure to give Offset work to Reliance...Dassault was looking for an Indian Partner and found Reliance suitable....Dassault was not interested in HAL....and frankly don't blame Dassault... HAL has a trackrecord of delaying all the Orders it undertakes...

M: Anyway Congress will keep on finding ways to attack Modi on Rafalle..

F: RaGa just tweeted and now in his desperation is letting  out Congress secrets... says MOD will have to conjure Imaginary Minutes of meetings between France Officials and MOD..

F: In France they joke about RaGa....especially after his attempt to embroil Marcon in the Rafalle controversy he's created...French Politicians now consider RaGa as 'unreliable'....I got this from a very reliable source...

M: Yup.. was at a Party and overheard a couple of Diplomats calling  him....Princy Newman ( MAD Magazines main protagonist Alfred E Newman)...

F: Then toh these were pucca American Diplomats...

M: Chalo why take names.... the idea is to show how seriously The Baba is taken in Diplomatic Circles...

M: Is Media above the law.... a Durbaari has been raided and  entire Durbari gang showing its a cardinal sin to raid anyone who criticises  Government..

F: So do all kinds of jiggery-pokkery .... and then criticize Government and lo and behold you get a Card... Cannot be Raided....

M: I can name umpteen number  of Darbaris who 24x7 criticize....insult and sometimes abuse Modi... none of them have been raided...

F: That's because BJP's not vindictive....law takes its own course...

M: I think Modi trusts Fate.... does his job....  if he feel his critics are correct then corrects himself.. if they are lying... truth has this uncanny habit of slapping liars right in the face..

My friend gives me a Thumbs Up... I pay the tab and we move out..
