TN CM Vijay’s meeting with Karnataka CM DKS over Cauvery Water Dispute cancelled

The much-anticipated meeting between Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay and Karnataka Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar on August 3 to discuss the Cauvery Water Dispute has been cancelled. Whispers in the corridors of power suggest that amid legal battle and protests in the two states and deficit rainfall and calls for release of water by Tamil Nadu, CM Shivakumar has urged Vijay to cancel his meeting.
