Two Women as President's ADCs for the First Time in History

For the first time in India's history, two of the President's Aides-de-Camp (ADCs) are women -Major Navya Shekhawat of the Indian Army and Lieutenant Commander Yashasvi Solankee of the Indian Navy. With her recent appointment, Major Navya Shekhawat has become the first woman officer from the Indian Army to serve as the President's ADC.Earlier,Lieutenant Commander Yashasvi Solankee became the first woman officer to be appointed as the President's ADC. Together, their appointments mark a historic milestone for women's representation at Rashtrapati Bhavan.
