Speculations about Chinese President President Xi Jinping’s health have again started doing the rounds among observers in the wake of his sudden departure to China from the BRICS Summit and absence from the official dinners. Rumours doing the rounds point to the unverified claims by Wanjun Xie, chairman of the China Democracy Party. Xie alleged on social media that the Chinese leader President Xi Jinping suffered a severe ischemic stroke and fainted during the recent BRICS Summit in New Delhi. 

According to the dissident’s account, Xi declined emergency medical care at an Indian hospital due to security fears. He was allegedly flown back to China and transported via military helicopter directly to Beijing's 301 Hospital.

However, the allegations remain entirely unconfirmed. Neither Chinese state media nor India’s Ministry of External Affairs has issued a statement confirming or denying it. Furthermore, official summit timelines contradict the claims, showing President Xi participating in bilateral meetings and delivering remarks across both days of the summit. Nonetheless, the viral posts have fueled ongoing international speculation surrounding highly classified intelligence on the Chinese leader's secretive health status and medical history.
