Why Chairman of NHAI Deepak Kumar was repatriated ?

Sudden repatriation of Deepak Kumar from the high profile post of DG, NHAI, has surprised many in the power galleries. Sources say that the govt was not reportedly happy with the pace of NHs progress, especially Eastern and Western Peripherals. SC has directed the govt to open Eastern Peripheral by June 1 positively. Top Court's remark did not go well in govt cirlces and Kumar's repatriation orders were issued within 10 days after court observation. What is the real story behind this ? Only govt  knows.
