Will DGP of UP get extension?

Sulkhan Singh, DGP UP will superannuate in September this year but whispering has started - whether he will get extension or not? It is said that the govt is also in a fix. If Yogi govt follows SC order than Singh  is likely to get 1year extension. He became DGP of the state in April this year.  He is a 1980 batch IPS officer.
