43 IAS get new jobs in Chhattisgarh in major reshuffle

In a major administrative rejig as many as 43 IAS officers have been given new responsibilities in Chhattisgarh. Mrs Richa Sharma has been appointed as ACS, Panchayat and Rural Development, while Manoj Kumar Pingua joins as ACS, Forest and Climate Change and Subodh Kumar Singh, PS to the Chief Minister will hold the additional charge of PS, Energy Department. Similarly, Mrs Niharika Barik will take charge as PS, Home and Jails; Mrs Shehla Nigar as PS, Women and Child Development with additional charge of PS, Social Welfare; Rohit Yadav as Secretary, Finance, with additional charge of Secretary, PR; Dt Kamalpreet Singh as Secretary, School Education Department; Pardeshi Siddharth Komal as Secretary, Agriculture, and Agriculture Production Commissioner; Ms Reena Baba Saheb Kangale will hold additional charge of Secretary, Commercial Taxes (Excise); Avinash Champawat, Secretary, General Administration Department gets the additional charge of Secretary, Higher Education; Mukesh Kumar Bansal joins as Secretary, Commercial Taxes (excluding Excise and Registration) and Secretary, Public Works Department; Ms R Shangeetha as Secretary, Urban Administration and Development Department; Ankit Anand, Secretary, Housing and Environment is relieved of the additional charge of Commercial Taxes Registration; Bhuvnesh Yadav was posted as Secretary, Planning, Economics, and Statistics Department; S Bharathidasan as Secretary, Tourism, Culture, and Endowments Department; Ms Shammi Abidi as Secretary, Revenue and Disaster Management Department; Basavaraju S as Secretary Skill Development, Technical Education, and Employment Department; Mohammad Kaiser Abdulhaque, Secretary, Public Health Engineering will also hold charge as Mission Director, Jal Jeevan Mission; Rajesh Singh.
